Senator Michael Testa, Assemblyman Antwan McClellan, and Assemblyman Erik Simonsen have expressed their concerns over unexplained drone activity in New Jersey. This follows a recent briefing with the State Police.

“Wednesday’s briefing with the State Police left me perplexed,” stated Sen. Michael Testa. “Despite the State Police not knowing where the drones were coming from or who owns them, we were told, ‘There is no known credible threat.’ How can the state possibly expect us to believe that when we know nothing about them? New Jerseyans shouldn’t be kept in the dark this long. We deserve answers.”

Assemblyman McClellan shared his apprehensions as well: “The lack of transparency and leadership is deeply concerning. People are understandably alarmed, and this ongoing uncertainty only makes things worse. Governor Murphy must demand immediate answers from the federal government. Our residents deserve to feel safe.”

Assemblyman Simonsen emphasized the need for urgent action: “This is about protecting our airspace and the safety of New Jerseyans. The lack of answers is troubling, and we need swift action to address this issue and provide reassurance to the public.”
