Senator Carmen Amato, Jr., Assemblyman Brian Rumpf, and Assemblyman Gregory Myhre are taking steps to inform the public about New Jersey’s new PAS-1 form. This form serves as a single application for the Senior Freeze (Property Tax Reimbursement), ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs. It is intended for residents aged 65 and over or those receiving Social Security Disability Benefits.

The legislative team has been distributing the PAS-1 form at senior communities within their district. They aim to ensure that all eligible property taxpayers are aware of and can apply for these benefits.

“If you live in our legislative district and have not received a copy of the PAS-1 form in the mail, you can access it online, here, or contact our district office directly,” said the delegation in a joint statement. “We will gladly mail a copy to any resident who needs one.”

Residents, especially seniors and others who might qualify for tax relief, are encouraged by the lawmakers to review and complete the updated application promptly to benefit from these state programs.

For further details or to request a PAS-1 form, individuals can contact the 9th District Legislative Office at (609) 693-6700.
