Early Friday morning, the Mosquito Control Commission will be active in Camden County. They will be spraying and monitoring areas throughout the county to manage mosquito populations.
Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, who is the liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission, emphasized the importance of eliminating standing water around homes. “It’s important for homeowners to check their yard and get rid any standing water to prevent mosquitos from spreading,” Nash stated. He advised checking flowerpots and other containers for stagnant water, as being proactive can significantly impact mosquito control efforts.
The Camden County Mosquito Commission has scheduled Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying operations on Friday, July 18, 2025. These activities are planned between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting, in several locations across Waterford, Winslow, Cherry Hill, Berlin, and Voorhees Township.
