Mosquito control commission schedules early morning spraying in Cherry Hill

Early Friday morning, the Camden County Mosquito Control Commission will conduct spraying and surveillance in several areas across Camden County.

Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, who serves as liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission, emphasized the importance of eliminating standing water. “It’s important for homeowners to check their yard and get rid any standing water to prevent mosquitos from spreading,” Nash said. “Be sure to check flowerpots and other plastic containers for standing water. Being proactive have major impact on the mosquito population and help the hardworking people at the Camden County Mosquito Control Commission in their efforts.”

The commission plans to carry out ULV “spraying” operations on Friday, August 29, 2025, between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. The targeted locations are within Cherry Hill and include numerous residential streets such as Morris Dr., Country Club Dr., Junewood Dr., Lavender Hill Dr., Downs Dr., S. Cranford Rd., Fireside Ln., Lilac Ln., Barby Ln., Gatewood Rd., McGill Ave., Tamara Ct., Massachusetts Ave., W. Miami Ave., Windsor Dr., Royal Oak Ave., Brentwood Ave., Berkshire Ave., Berkshire Ct., Windsor Cir., Brookline Ave., Valley Run Dr., Rhode Island Ave., S. Forge Ln., Mackin Dr., Glen Ln., Knollwood Dr., Coach Ln., Darby Ln., Eddy Ln., Forge Ln., Lafferty Dr., Bellows Ln., Jade Ln., Knoll Ln., Lantern Ln., Ivy Ln., Old Orchard Rd., Split Rock Dr., Mimosa Dr., Mimosa Pl., Stonebridge Rd., Niamoa Dr.. Other included streets are W. Eagle Ln, E. Eagle Ln, W. Split Rock Dr, E. Split Rock Dr, Collins Dr, Rye Rd, Lamp Post Ln, Gatehouse Ln, Chimney Ln, Candlewyck Way, Firethorne Rd, Roanoke Rd, Locust Grove Dr, Waverly Rd, Kenwood Dr, Bowood Dr, Suffolk Ct, Surrey Ct, Brookmead Dr, Briar Rd, Midway Dr, Wayland Rd, Pelham Rd and Westover Dr.

Residents are encouraged to take preventive measures by removing sources of stagnant water around their homes to support ongoing mosquito control efforts.
