Livingston announces no metal recycling pickup on May 22

The Township of Livingston announced on May 11 that there will be no metal recycling pickup on Friday, May 22.

The change affects residents who use the township’s scheduled metal collection service. The suspension is for one week only, and regular service will resume the following Friday.

Metal recycling pickup is set to restart on Friday, May 29. Residents who wish to participate must register by noon on Thursday, May 28. The township said the online request form for metal pickup will not be available during the week of May 18 through May 22.

Registration for future pickups can be completed online starting Tuesday, May 26 at livingstonnj.org/MetalRequest.

The announcement serves as a reminder for residents to plan accordingly and use the provided registration system when it becomes available again.
