This week, all dogs and cats at the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center will have an adoption fee of $7. The adoption center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“There are so many animals at the shelter just waiting to find a loving home,” said Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the animal shelter. “Please consider opening your heart and your home to a new pet. And if you are unable to adopt right now, the shelter is always looking for donations.”
