Holy Name announced on April 15 that it has been included in Newsweek’s America’s Best Maternity Hospitals list for 2026, recognizing the center’s care for mothers, newborns, and families. The list was released on April 22 and is available on Newsweek.com.

Holy Name’s Maternity Child Health Center offers a family-centered approach with advanced medical expertise, specialized support classes, and newly renovated private suites. Board-certified obstetricians/gynecologists, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, perinatologists, and neonatologists are available on-site at all times. The hospital also provides educational programs and expanded lactation services from pregnancy through delivery.

Last month, Holy Name appointed Andrea Hubschmann as Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Hubschmann brings over 15 years of experience in obstetric and gynecologic care along with a record in quality and safety leadership.

The recognition by Newsweek was based on a national review of hospital quality metrics, patient survey results, as well as input from healthcare professionals and hospital managers who provided recommendations for leading maternity hospitals. Statista partnered with Newsweek to identify the top institutions using these criteria.

“Recognition from Newsweek underscores Holy Name’s unwavering commitment to providing accessible, high-quality care throughout every stage of pregnancy and beyond,” said Michael Maron, President and CEO of Holy Name. “It is a testament to the expertise and compassion of our physicians, nurses, and staff, and to the trust families place in us during life’s most meaningful moments.”
