In the ongoing discussion about underfunded public schools, Senator Owen Henry (R-12) attended a State Board of Education meeting on January 14 to advocate for improved funding methods.

“Our students’ futures depend on a commitment to sustainable and fair funding solutions,” stated Sen. Henry. “New Jersey has one of, if not the best, public education systems in the nation but it’s clear that we need to do more to protect the quality of our education system and I will continue fighting for our students and educators to get the resources and tools they need for a sound education.”

Senator Henry recently led students on a tour of the State House, emphasizing the importance of school funding. His latest video is available for viewing.
