Gin Blossoms headline Freedom Festival on Camden Waterfront

The annual Freedom Festival and Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular was held at Wiggins Waterfront Park this Wednesday, featuring a performance by the chart-topping rock band Gin Blossoms. The festival is presented by the Board of Commissioners and the City of Camden.

“Every year, thousands of people look forward to this celebration of Independence Day on the beautiful Camden Waterfront,” said Commissioner Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Events and Community Outreach. “This event is always a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, have some fun and enjoy spectacular fireworks show against the skyline of this nation’s first capital.”

The schedule for the Fourth of July Celebration was as follows:

6 p.m. – Solo singer Tara Hendricks
8 p.m. – Gin Blossoms
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks Spectacular over the Delaware River
