U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district, shared updates on his recent activities and greetings for Passover in a series of posts on April 1, 2026.
On April 1, Norcross recounted a visit to Delaney Hall with Rep. Menendez, emphasizing the importance of humane treatment for detainees: “Yesterday I toured Delaney Hall with @RepMenendez, where we heard from those being held inside. These people are human beings and deserve to be treated as such. Here’s my thoughts: https://t.co/HxJEe2Vi06” (posted at 19:19 UTC).
Later that day, he expressed support for the Artemis II mission and acknowledged the contributions of workers from his district: “Good luck and godspeed to the crew of Artemis II! Thousands of workers across America, including at over a dozen companies here in the First Congressional District, have spent years contributing to this mission that will send human beings back to the moon. It goes to show that” (posted at 20:00 UTC).
In an evening post, Norcross extended holiday wishes: “Chag Sameach to those in South Jersey and around the world observing Passover starting tonight! https://t.co/N2EPZ2CLpe” (posted at 22:30 UTC).
Norcross has served in Congress since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014 and previously held seats in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate. Born in Camden in 1958, he continues to reside there while representing constituents from New Jersey’s 1st District.
