U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district, recently posted a series of updates on his social media account covering travel safety, family activities during winter weather, and criticism of former President Trump’s tariff policies.

On February 23, 2026, Norcross addressed constituents with travel concerns in Mexico. He wrote: “If you or a loved one is currently in Mexico, please sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program at https://t.co/WyvSiClmJd. Later that same day, Norcross shared a personal moment involving three generations of his family working together after a snowstorm: “The three Donalds digging out after the storm. Popi (myself) on the snowblower, my son running the “plow shovel,” and the grandson is supervising like a pro. Three generations, one driveway.” (posted February 23, 2026).

On February 24, 2026, Norcross commented on national economic policy by criticizing tariffs implemented under former President Trump: “Trump’s reckless tariffs aren’t paid by other countries. They’re a tax on hard working American families.” (posted February 24, 2026).

Norcross has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 1st congressional district since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014. Prior to his current role in Congress, he was part of both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958 and currently residing there at age 64, Norcross continues to be active both politically and within his community.
