Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to share public service announcements and community resources for residents of South Jersey.
On February 21, 2026, Norcross posted about a local initiative: “Rutgers University–Camden is offering FREE IRS-approved tax prep for qualifying New Jersey families through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Find out more: https://t.co/UwtFJQUAup”.
The following day, as severe winter weather approached the region, Norcross urged caution: “I encourage all New Jerseyans to stay home and off the roads during this winter storm. There’s no such thing as being overly prepared. Get the latest weather updates and safety information here: https://t.co/2Z0m3JvQZr” (February 22, 2026).
On February 23, he thanked essential workers and reminded residents to remain safe: “Stay safe South Jersey, and enjoy the snow! Thank you to all the essential workers out there clearing our roads and keeping critical services running. https://t.co/ODElnA2X4f”.
Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st district since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014. He previously served in both chambers of the New Jersey legislature before his election to Congress. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside in his hometown while serving constituents across South Jersey.
