Donald Norcross raises concerns over F-35 sales and military standards in recent posts

Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on November 20, 2025, addressing concerns about national security, military standards, and political discourse.

In his first post at 19:30 UTC, Norcross raised questions about the Trump administration’s plans to sell advanced fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. He wrote, “Selling F-35s to Saudi Arabia could expose some of America’s most sensitive military technology to the People’s Republic of China, putting U.S. national security at risk. I’m pushing the Trump administration for answers. What happened to America first?”

Later that evening at 20:07 UTC, Norcross addressed the issue of controversial symbols within the U.S. military. He stated, “Let’s be clear: these are hate symbols. These symbols have no place in our military. America is better than this.”

At 22:28 UTC on the same day, Norcross criticized former President Donald Trump’s rhetoric towards members of Congress with military service backgrounds. He tweeted, “The threats Donald Trump made toward the Members of Congress who served our nation in uniform are incendiary and dangerous. Norcross has been a member of Congress since 2014 and previously served in both chambers of New Jersey’s state legislature from 2010 until his election to Congress. Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1958, he continues to reside there while serving as a federal lawmaker.
