Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has used his social media platform to highlight achievements and milestones of New Jersey residents, including athletes participating in the 2026 Winter Olympics and a centenarian World War II veteran.

On February 6, 2026, Norcross posted on X: “Congratulations to all the New Jersey athletes representing Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics! These athletes are proof that world-class talent comes from NJ. We’re cheering loud for you as you work to bring home the gold.”

Two days later, on February 8, he reiterated his support with a similar message: “Congratulations to all the New Jersey athletes representing Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics! These athletes are proof that world class talent comes from NJ. We’re cheering loud for you as you work to bring home the gold.”

On February 7, Norcross shared details about a special celebration honoring a local veteran: “My office had the honor of celebrating Vineland native and WWII veteran Johnny Q’s 100th Birthday at the @BattleshipNJ. Johnny served in the South Pacific as a Navy radioman and was on duty when word came that the war was over. He has spent decades continuing to serve through”

Norcross has been serving in Congress since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews. Before his tenure in Washington, he served in both chambers of New Jersey’s state legislature between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1958, Norcross is now 64 years old and continues to reside in Camden.
