Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on November 19, 2025, highlighting his legislative work and recent recognitions.

On November 19, Norcross announced his recognition by the Humane Society Legislative Fund, stating: “It’s an honor to receive a perfect score of 100% on @humaneactfund’s 2025 scorecard. I’ll keep fighting to protect our furry friends and to ensure they are treated humanely.”

Later that day, he commented on ongoing efforts regarding Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and military oversight with Representative Herb Conaway: @RepHerbConaway and I have already worked together to press the administration for answers on reports involving Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and I look forward to continuing that work with him on @HASCDemocrats. We must make sure our brave men and women in the military have

He also extended congratulations to Representative Herb Conaway for his new role: “Congratulations to @RepHerbConaway on his appointment to the House Armed Services Committee this week!”

Norcross has served as a member of Congress since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in both the New Jersey General Assembly and State Senate. Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while serving his constituents.
