Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account addressing healthcare registration deadlines, Black History Month, and legislative efforts on law enforcement transparency.
On January 31, 2026, Norcross reminded constituents about an important healthcare deadline: “Today is the last day to register for healthcare through Get Covered NJ. Enroll now: https://t.co/3gocpwOXCX”.
Two days later, on February 2, he marked the start of Black History Month with a message celebrating local and national contributions: “Happy Black History Month! This month and every month, we celebrate the leaders, workers, and families shaping South Jersey and our nation. https://t.co/LHJNfMLGiQ”.
Later that same day, Norcross highlighted his legislative priorities regarding law enforcement accountability: “Yes, and my Trust Through Transparency Act would make it happen. DHS’s body camera policy means nothing unless it’s enforced. Body cameras should be required by law. A policy without a law behind it is like air you can’t breathe. https://t.co/xLiQAiGLmC https://t.co/7Lc66umkmg”.
Norcross has served as the U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 1st District since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in both the New Jersey General Assembly and State Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside in his hometown while serving his constituents.
