U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district, recently highlighted funding achievements and community engagement efforts through a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On March 10, 2026, Norcross announced the allocation of federal funds for local infrastructure projects. He wrote, “There’s been a lot of tough news lately, but the $2 million I secured for Pennsauken’s Public Works facility and Maple Shade’s water treatment plant is a real reminder of what can happen when government listens and delivers for our communities. I came to Congress to fight for”.
The following day, on March 11, 2026, Norcross invited constituents to participate in his ongoing town hall meetings: “There’s been a lot going on in the news lately, and I want to hear what’s on your mind. Join me tomorrow night at the Collingswood Senior Community Center for my 118th townhall. RSVP and ask a question here: https://t.co/IGKLTYD1OS”.
Continuing his focus on local investment, Norcross posted on March 12, 2026: “Today, I delivered nearly $2 million in Community Project Funding to projects for @RowanUniversity and Gloucester County. This funding will help support a project to develop cutting-edge housing research and a project to make key infrastructure improvements to Rowan’s West”.
Norcross has served in Congress since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014 and represents New Jersey’s 1st district. Prior to his congressional service, he was a member of both the New Jersey General Assembly and State Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while maintaining active involvement with local initiatives.
