U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district, recently shared updates on his activities and engagement with constituents through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On October 8, 2025, Norcross addressed the ongoing government shutdown in a post thanking participants in his recent telephone town hall: “Thank you to everyone who joined my Telephone Town Hall last night on the Republican government shutdown. I’m fighting to protect your healthcare and reopen the federal government.”

In another post from the same day, Norcross highlighted his commitment to constituent outreach: “I’ve hosted 111 town halls throughout my time in Congress because hearing directly from my constituents is what makes our democracy strong.”

Later that day, Norcross reported on his participation in a community event in Cherry Hill: “I was honored to join local leaders and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Southern New Jersey for the “Hate Ends Now” exhibit in Cherry Hill. Donald Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st district in Congress since 2014, following the resignation of Rob Andrews. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Norcross served in both the New Jersey General Assembly and the New Jersey Senate. Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1958, Norcross continues to reside in Camden while serving his constituents.
