U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district and resides in Camden, shared updates this week on his recent activities and community events via his official Twitter account.

On July 16, Norcross highlighted a meeting with Campbell’s CEO Mick Beekhuizen regarding the company’s long-standing presence in Camden. He wrote, “For over 150 years, Campbell’s has called Camden home and employed thousands across South Jersey. Great to meet with Campbell’s CEO, Mick Beekhuizen, and chat about our shared commitment to keeping that legacy strong and supporting our local economy.”

Later that evening, he issued a public safety notice for constituents: “A flood watch is in effect through early Thursday morning for much of the region. Please prepare and be safe.” The message served as an alert for residents to remain cautious during potential severe weather conditions.

On July 17, Norcross promoted an upcoming community event at Camden County College. He stated, “On Monday, I’m hosting my 8th Annual Constituent Services Fair at Camden County College in Blackwood from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We’ll have over 100 local, state, and federal resources. Hope to see you there!”

Congressman Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st District since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014 after previously serving in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to live in the city he serves.
