Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on local investments and national issues in a series of tweets on February 3, 2026.

In his first post of the day, Norcross discussed recent conversations with the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ), stating: “It was good to sit down with @CCSNJ and talk about how we are investing in jobs, education, healthcare and stability here in South Jersey. In Congress, I will continue pushing to ensure our local businesses have opportunities to grow and create more good-paying jobs in our” (posted at 14:42 UTC).

Later that evening, Norcross commented on actions by former President Trump and Secretary Noem regarding immigration enforcement. He wrote: “Trump and Secretary Noem are turning DHS into a political weapon, using ICE to sow fear in our neighborhoods instead of keeping people safe. This is not who we are as a nation, and it has to stop.” (posted at 22:12 UTC).

In a third tweet, Norcross invited constituents to participate in an upcoming event: “Do you have questions about what is happening in Washington? Join me at my 115th townhall on Thursday at 6pm in Haddon Heights. Find more information and register here:” (posted at 23:32 UTC).

Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st congressional district since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served briefly in the New Jersey General Assembly before joining the New Jersey Senate from 2010 to 2014. Born and residing in Camden, New Jersey, Norcross continues to engage actively with his constituents through regular public forums.
