Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his legislative priorities and community engagement through a series of posts on social media.
On March 18, 2026, Norcross wrote about meeting with healthcare advocates: “Yesterday, I got the chance to meet with representatives from the National Kidney Foundation to discuss the need to expand access to healthcare, including kidney disease prevention. Healthcare is a human right, and I will continue working to make it more accessible to South https://t.co/qpvBqJqGbv”.
The following day, March 19, he highlighted his interaction with students from Rowan University: “It was great chatting with @RowanUniversity students during their visit to DC about the work I do in Congress. These bright minds represent the future of our government, and I have been lucky enough to have @rowanippc alumni and interns work in my office over the years. Thanks https://t.co/Y704X3Ntgs”.
Later that same day, Norcross outlined his ongoing focus in Congress: “My three priorities in Congress have always been the same: jobs, education, and security. Last week, I delivered $1.7 million in Community Project Funding to Magnolia and Westville fire departments. Investing in public health and safety is how we ensure there’s lasting security https://t.co/cOk6mUo2PU”.
Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st district since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews. He previously served both in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while serving his constituents.
