Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district since 2014, recently expressed his views on social media regarding various issues affecting his constituents and the broader American public. Norcross, a staunch advocate for labor rights and fair economic policies, has consistently highlighted concerns about healthcare and workers’ rights.

On March 5, 2025, Congressman Norcross criticized former President Trump and House Republicans for their tax policies. He stated that “While Trump and House Republicans offer tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans and big corporations, they leave everyone else behind. His cuts to Medicaid will rip healthcare away from millions of Americans, including 16,000 seniors in our community.”

The following day, March 6, 2025, Norcross shared his experience meeting with United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 1069. He remarked on the importance of their work by saying “Yesterday, I had the honor of welcoming @UAW Local 1069 to discuss their vital work in building the next fleet of American-made aircrafts. It’s always great to stand with my brothers and sisters in the labor movement.”

On March 7, 2025, Congressman Norcross took to social media again to emphasize his commitment to workers’ rights. In recognition of Employee Appreciation Day, he tweeted “Hard-working men and women keep this country running every day. As a union electrician, I’ll never stop fighting for a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work.”
