Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets addressing workers’ rights, health care policy, and immigration oversight.

On July 24, 2025, Norcross wrote on his official account: “On @EdWorkforceDems, I will continue fighting for fair wages and dignity on the job because every worker deserves a paycheck that reflects their hard work.”

The following day, he criticized former President Donald Trump’s economic policies in a tweet dated July 25, 2025: “Donald Trump spent all of 2024 promising to lower costs. He isn’t just ignoring the cost of living; he’s making things worse. His One Big, Ugly Bill will kick millions of Americans off their health care, shutter hospitals, raise energy prices, and make kids go hungry.”

Later on July 25, Norcross addressed immigration policy regarding Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst: “Last week, @SecDef informed us that Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst will be used as a detention site for undocumented immigrants. Today, I joined @RepHerbConaway for a meeting with the base to perform our congressional duty of oversight. The Trump Admin has shown time and time”

Norcross has served in Congress since 2014 after replacing Rob Andrews and previously held positions in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate. Born in Camden in 1958, he continues to reside there while representing his district.
