Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of issues through his social media posts, including worker safety during online sales events, civil rights history, and local investments for South Jersey.
On December 1, 2025, Norcross commented on workplace safety amid rising online shopping activity: “Online sales shouldn’t come with a spike in workplace injuries. With Cyber Monday set to break records, let’s remember the workers who make it possible and ensure every one of them gets home safe.”
Later that same day, he marked an important anniversary in American civil rights history: “December 1 marks the day Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat. Her courage on this day in 1955 helped move our nation forward and her legacy continues to guide our work as we continue fighting for justice and equality.”
On December 2, Norcross shared news about funding secured for his district: “These investments are about strengthening the services our families rely on every day, from safer communities to better healthcare to support our neighbors on the front lines. I’m excited to share that I’ve secured over $2.7 million for South Jersey, and I’ll keep pushing to”
Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st district since 2014 after replacing Rob Andrews. He previously served in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while serving his constituents.
