Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed several key issues in a series of posts on social media.
On March 24, 2026, Norcross voiced his support for legislation aimed at improving working conditions for home care workers. He stated, “I support the Fair Wages for Home Care Workers Act to guarantee minimum wage and overtime protections for over 3 million home care workers. These workers provide essential care to our loved ones, and they deserve to be treated with the same dignity and respect that they give”.
Later that day, Norcross highlighted the ongoing issue of unpaid Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents. In his post from March 24, he said, “TSA agents have gone nearly six weeks without a paycheck. That’s why I support @rosadelauro’s bill to fund all of DHS except for ICE. But instead of joining with Democrats to finally pay these hardworking Americans, Republicans are sending ICE agents into our airports, which”.
On March 25, Norcross recognized National Medal of Honor Day by acknowledging military service members who have received the nation’s highest honor. He wrote, “The Medal of Honor is the highest and most prestigious military award. Today, on National Medal of Honor Day, we recognize the servicemembers who distinguished themselves through valor.”
Norcross has served in Congress since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews and previously held positions in both the New Jersey General Assembly and State Senate. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while representing his constituents at the federal level.
