Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing national political issues and sending greetings to his constituents.

On September 22, 2025, Norcross commented on former President Donald Trump by posting, “In a world filled with Trump news every day, this clip shows who the real Donald Trump is. It’s not about what’s best for America. It’s about what’s best for Trump.” Later that same day, he extended holiday wishes to South Jersey’s Jewish community: “Shana Tovah! Wishing South Jersey’s Jewish community a happy, healthy, and joyful New Year!”

The following day, September 23, Norcross addressed food insecurity and government assistance programs: “Food is a right, not a privilege. Cutting food stamps for millions and scrapping the hunger report won’t erase the truth: too many families are still struggling to put food on the table.”

Norcross has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 1st congressional district since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews. He was born in Camden in 1958 and continues to reside there. Before joining Congress, Norcross served in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate.
