Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2014, has made several public statements through his social media platform. In his tweets, he shared local insights, personal greetings, and political concerns.

On April 26, 2025, Norcross shared a tweet about a local spot in Camden County that is currently at “peak bloom”. He inquired of his followers, ““Do you know #WhereInSouthJersey you can find this quarry and view of the Philly skyline?”

The following day, on April 27, 2025, he extended birthday wishes to fellow politician, Senator Cory Booker, by tweeting, “Happy birthday @SenBooker!

Later the same day, Norcross expressed concern about financial cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). He explained, “I joined my New Jersey Democratic congressional colleagues to call out NOAA cuts ahead of hurricane season. These budget and staffing slashes are preventing @NOAA from meeting its mission to protect public safety, marine research, and coastal resilience.

Norcross, 64, has been an influential figure in New Jersey politics for over a decade, also serving in the New Jersey Senate prior to his current role in Congress.
