Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets on December 10, 2024, addressing issues related to wage theft, American defense policy at NATO, and infrastructure investments through the Water Resources Development Act.

In a tweet posted at 20:24 UTC on December 10, Congressman Norcross recounted his personal experience with wage theft during his time as a truck driver. He stated, “When I was a truck driver, I experienced wage theft when my employer left hours off my paychecks. Calling wage theft a ‘minor accounting error’ doesn’t cut it — it’s theft, plain and simple.”

Later that day at 22:01 UTC, Norcross expressed his thoughts on American defense policy following his participation in NATO’s Annual Parliamentary Transatlantic Forum. He tweeted, “It was great to discuss American defense policy at NATO’s Annual Parliamentary Transatlantic Forum today. U.S. leadership remains vital to the strength and future of NATO, ensuring the security of Americans, and protecting our allies.”

At 23:25 UTC on the same day, Congressman Norcross announced his vote in favor of the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA). He emphasized its importance for storm and wastewater management as well as flood mitigation infrastructure by stating, “Today, I voted to pass the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) to invest in storm and wastewater management and flood mitigation infrastructure. We’ve got to protect our cities, towns, businesses, and homes from severe storms.”
