Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, addressed recent events and ongoing legislative issues in a series of posts on social media between December 15 and 16, 2025.
On December 15, Norcross commented on the aftermath of a violent incident overseas, stating, “Hanukkah is a story of resilience and hope. After the horrific attack in Australia this weekend, we need that light now more than ever. We can do better. We must do better.”
Later that day, he highlighted his office’s continued service to constituents despite developments in Washington: “No matter what’s happening in Washington, my office continues working for South Jersey. If you’re having trouble with a federal agency, call us for help at (856) 427-7000 or visit my website at https://t.co/dHffRkg8Of”.
On December 16, Norcross turned his attention to healthcare policy debates in Congress. He wrote: “House Republicans are pushing a healthcare package that fails to actually address the healthcare crisis. This bill WON’T extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits and does nothing to stop the threat of losing coverage. Americans deserve a real healthcare solution that lowers”.
Norcross has served as U.S. Representative since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014 and previously held positions in both chambers of New Jersey’s legislature from 2010 to 2014. Born and residing in Camden, New Jersey, Norcross continues to focus on constituent services and national policy debates from his seat in Congress.
