Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district, recently shared several messages on social media. These posts reflect both celebratory greetings and a personal tribute to a late colleague.

On March 13, 2025, Congressman Norcross extended his best wishes for the Jewish festival of Purim. He wrote, “Happy Purim to all observing in South Jersey and beyond!”

The following day, March 14, 2025, he conveyed greetings for another cultural celebration. Norcross stated, “Happy Holi to all celebrating! I hope the Festival of Colors brings happiness and hope to all observing.” This message was directed at those participating in the Hindu festival known for its vibrant festivities.

Later that same day, Norcross expressed his sorrow over the death of a fellow congressman. He tweeted on March 14, 2025: “I am deeply saddened by the passing of my colleague, Raul Grijalva. Raul and I shared a love of the outdoors, and he was an advocate for protecting our natural resources and improving our healthcare system. His work gave a voice to those who need it most, and his impact will be…” The tweet highlights Grijalva’s contributions in environmental protection and healthcare advocacy.
