Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared several posts on social media highlighting labor contributions, Hispanic Heritage Month, and remembrance for prisoners of war and those missing in action.
On September 14, 2025, Norcross posted: “Enjoying the weekend? Thank a union!”
The following day, he marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month with a post stating: “Today marks the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. We celebrate the history, culture, and many contributions of Hispanic Americans to South Jersey and our nation.” (September 15, 2025)
Later that same day, Norcross published another message honoring military service members: “Prisoners of war and those missing in action gave more to our country than we can ever measure. Their courage will never be forgotten as we hold their memories in our hearts.” (September 15, 2025)
Norcross has represented New Jersey’s 1st district since replacing Rob Andrews in Congress in 2014. Before his tenure in Congress, he served both in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while serving his constituents.
