Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district since 2014, recently shared his perspectives on various political issues through a series of tweets. Norcross, who succeeded Rob Andrews in Congress, has been vocal about his views on federal workers, economic policies, and international relations.

In a tweet dated March 5, 2025, Norcross criticized President Trump for his stance on federal workers. He stated: “President Trump doesn’t get it—federal workers protect our food, water, and air. They serve as doctors at VA hospitals, keep our military ready, process Social Security checks, and ensure our safety at airports. His attacks on union contracts and civil service hurt our country.”

Another tweet from the same day addressed Trump’s economic promises. Norcross expressed dissatisfaction with the administration’s progress by stating: “Trump promised lower prices on day one, but so far all we’ve seen is chaos and confusion. His actions have done nothing to lower costs and have already hurt our economy.”

In a subsequent post also from March 5th, Congressman Norcross commented on international relations following remarks made by Trump. He warned against neglecting commitments to allies by saying: “Trump’s comments tonight only deepen the divide between us and our allies. Neglecting our commitments to Ukraine and NATO puts American security at risk and strengthens our adversaries. The world needs a leader who stands up for democratic values, not cozying up to dictators.”
