Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of topics on his social media account, from religious observances to energy policy and space exploration.

On April 9, 2026, Norcross extended greetings for Passover with the message: “Chag Sameach! Wishing a joyful and peaceful end to Passover to all who observe.”

The following day, April 10, he commented on Governor Sherrill of New Jersey’s recent decision regarding nuclear energy: “Happy to see @GovSherrillNJ continue to focus on bringing down the cost of utilities by lifting the mortorium on new nuclear plants. Her action this week will provide an economic boost to South Jersey and result in more clean, reliable, and affordable electricity for the state.”

On April 11, Norcross congratulated NASA and the Artemis II crew after their successful mission: “Congratulations to everyone at @NASA and the crew of Artemis II on safe splashdown! Your record-breaking mission inspired billions across the world and reminded us that when America comes together, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.”

Norcross has served as a member of Congress since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews. He was previously active in both chambers of New Jersey’s state legislature between 2010 and 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while representing his constituents at the federal level.
