Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district, recently shared his views and messages on various topics through a series of tweets. These tweets cover a range of issues from political commentary to public health awareness and civic engagement.

On June 9, 2025, Congressman Norcross commented on former President Trump’s actions regarding law enforcement. He highlighted the discrepancy between Trump’s statements and actions by stating “Trump says: ‘nobody’s going to spit on our police officers’ And we all agree. But when rioters beat our police officers on Jan 6th, Trump pardoned them. Watch what Trump does, not what he says.”

Later that day, Congressman Norcross emphasized the importance of Men’s Health Month with a reminder for men to take their health seriously. In his tweet posted at 23:09 UTC, he stated “This Men’s Health Month, we must bring awareness to the unique health challenges men face. A reminder to schedule that check-up. We can’t always ‘walk it off.’ Your future self (and family) will thank you.”

The following day, June 10, 2025, Congressman Norcross encouraged voter participation in South Jersey’s election day. At 15:42 UTC, he tweeted “It’s election day, South Jersey! Polls are open now, so get out there and make your voice heard. You can find your polling place or secure ballot drop box locations at https://t.co/tx0wKb3wFu or calling 1-877-NJ-VOTER.” This call to action was aimed at ensuring constituents exercise their right to vote.

Donald Norcross has been serving in the U.S. Congress since replacing Rob Andrews in 2014 and has previously served in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate.
