On January 30, 2025, Congressman Norcross commented on a recent aviation accident in Washington D.C., describing it as “a horrific tragedy.” He expressed condolences by stating that “all of America mourns the lives lost and is thinking of their loved ones.” His office is reportedly monitoring the situation to understand the causes and prevent future occurrences.

The following day, January 31, 2025, Norcross highlighted Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day. He noted that “millions of workers and families qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit yet many don’t claim it.” He encouraged individuals to check their eligibility to ensure they receive any entitled refunds.

On February 1, 2025, Congressman Norcross marked the beginning of Black History Month by acknowledging the significant contributions made by Black Americans. He stated that “far too often, Black historical figures are left out of our history books,” emphasizing the importance of recognizing these contributions throughout the year.
