Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents New Jersey’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing local celebrations and political issues.

On November 1, 2025, Norcross marked a cultural observance with his post: “¡Feliz Día de Los Muertos! to all celebrating in South Jersey! I hope you have a meaningful day honoring loved ones.”

The following day, November 2, he reminded constituents about voting deadlines for upcoming state elections: “Today is the last day of early voting for New Jersey’s Gubernatorial, legislative, and local elections! Even if you can’t vote early, you can still return your mail-in ballot or make a plan to vote on Election Day on November 4th. Find out more and make your voice heard here:”

On November 3, Norcross addressed federal policy concerns related to healthcare costs and food assistance programs: “Instead of working with Democrats to lower healthcare costs, Donald Trump and Republicans are driving up grocery bills and making kids go hungry by unnecessarily cutting off food assistance. It’s time they come back to Washington and help us fix this mess. https://t.co/RLD066i81i”

Norcross has served in Congress since 2014 after succeeding Rob Andrews. He previously held positions in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate from 2010 to 2014. Born in Camden in 1958, Norcross continues to reside there while representing his district.
