On Wednesday, Commissioner Virginia Betteridge participated in an event with the Community Planning and Advocacy Council (CPAC) to recognize the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program. This initiative links more than 270 individuals aged 55 and older to various volunteer opportunities across the county, with funding provided by CPAC.

“Through this program, hundreds of people dedicated their time to improving their communities through volunteerism,” stated Commissioner Virginia Betteridge. “This program is incredibly impactful on the South Jersey region and deserves to be honored and celebrated.”
