The 85th Anniversary of the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta will feature the Dad Vail Pale Ale, created by Double Nickel Brewing Company of Pennsauken. The Commissioners previewed the beer on Wednesday, with an official launch scheduled for Thursday evening at the Dad Vail Welcome Event at the Boathouse.

“This is the second year that Double Nickel Brewing has created a limited-edition beer for Camden County that launched during the Dad Vail. In 2023, the brewery created the Cooper River Park 100 Years blend, a clear light pilsner with an undertone of lemon that celebrated the 100th anniversary of Cooper River Park,” said Commissioner Jeffrey Nash.

Last year’s creation was a success, prompting the collaboration for this year’s beverage. Commissioner Jeffrey Nash expressed gratitude to Double Nickel for their contribution and anticipated a positive reception from attendees at the event.

Double Nickel Brewing also worked with the Camden County Commissioners on the creation of Camden County Rocks beer, designed as an easy-drinking summer beverage to complement the summer concert season.
