On Tuesday, Commissioner Jonathan Young attended the graduation ceremony of the 122nd Basic Correctional Police Officer Recruit Class at Camden County College Police Academy for Corrections.

The class consists of 23 graduates who will be working in Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Mercer, and Salem counties.

“Being a corrections officer is one of the most important and thankless jobs there is,” said Young, who serves as the liaison to the Department of Corrections. “These individuals have decided to serve their communities by entering this career field and that deserves to be honored and celebrated.”
