Commissioner Jennifer Cooley Fleisher and Clerk Pamela Lampitt attended a preview of the musical Suffs at Cherry Hill High School West on April 9. The school is one of only 12 nationwide chosen to receive complimentary licensing and production materials to stage the Tony Award-winning musical during the 2025-26 school year.
The selection highlights Cherry Hill High School West’s achievement in being recognized for this opportunity, reflecting broader efforts in education within Camden County. “The fact that Cherry Hill High School West is one of just 12 schools nationwide to receive production grants to stage the acclaimed Tony-Award winning musical Suffs is an incredible honor,” said Commissioner Jennifer Cooley Fleisher. “I look forward to seeing these students celebrate the women behind the movement that led to the ratification of the 19th Amendment, and secured women the right to vote.”
Opening night for Suffs at Cherry Hill High School West is scheduled for Friday, April 10.
