The Township of Livingston announced on May 11 that the Classic Radio Road Show will be performed live on Wednesday, May 27 at the Livingston Senior/Community Center. The event is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. and will take place at 204 Hillside Avenue. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.

The show offers attendees an opportunity to experience a recreation of a classic radio play, featuring authentic radio theater with vintage sound effects and music. Organizers say the event aims to bring the golden age of radio to modern audiences by blending traditional storytelling with both contemporary and vintage audio techniques.

According to the announcement, “Experience the golden age of radio with a live recreation of a classic radio play. Join us for an authentic radio theater experience performed live with vintage sound effects and music.” The performance group behind the event focuses on highlighting “the beauty of live drama” through its unique approach.

Registration can be completed online via Community Pass or in person at the Recreation Office located at 204 Hillside Avenue during regular business hours from Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
