The Camden County Board of Commissioners announced on June 3 that it will begin its Summer Concert Series this week, featuring two live performances open to the public at no cost.

Goodbye June is scheduled to perform at the Sundown Music Series at the McLaughlin Norcross Memorial Dell in Haddon Lake Park, Haddon Heights, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3. The Pop 2000s Tour will follow with a show for the Twilight Music Series at Cooper River Park on Thursday, June 4, beginning at 8 p.m.

Goodbye June is described as a group that combines hard rock licks with Southern blues and gospel swing. The band consists of three cousins aiming to create anthemic rock songs. The Pop 2000s Tour is hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC and features performances by O-Town, Ryan Cabrera, and LFO.

Commissioner Deputy Director Ed McDonnell said, “The summer concert series is loved by Camden County residents of all ages, and we are thrilled to welcome these amazing artists to our community. These shows provide our residents with quality entertainment, right in their local parks. We encourage everyone to join us this week and every week for these amazing performances.”

Camden County supports over 500,000 residents across 37 municipalities and operates under a seven-member Board of Commissioners who serve staggered three-year terms; its operations include maintaining parks such as those hosting the concerts as well as providing services in education, workforce development, public safety, health care, and economic development, according to the official website.

More information about upcoming park events can be found on Camden County’s website.
