Early Wednesday morning, the Mosquito Control Commission will be active in Camden County, conducting spraying and surveillance operations. The effort aims to control the mosquito population in various locations throughout the county.

Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, who is the liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission, emphasized the importance of addressing standing water to prevent mosquito breeding. “It’s important for homeowners to check their yard and get rid any standing water to prevent mosquitos from spreading,” Nash stated. He further advised residents to inspect flowerpots and plastic containers for stagnant water, highlighting that proactive measures can significantly impact mosquito control efforts.

The Camden County Mosquito Commission plans to conduct Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The operations are scheduled between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., contingent on weather conditions. Areas targeted include Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Gloucester Township, Gibbsboro, Pine Hill, Winslow, and Waterford.

The specific locations within these areas have been outlined by the commission to ensure residents are informed of where activities will occur.
