Camden County released its latest weekly newsletter on May 21, providing residents with news and updates about local events and programs.

The newsletter aims to keep the community informed about upcoming activities, important announcements, and ongoing initiatives. This week’s edition includes information on May Town Hall updates, Camden County Green events, voting details, highlights from the Best of the Class program, and additional resources for residents.

Residents are encouraged to sign up to receive these newsletters every Thursday afternoon. The county said this service helps ensure that people stay connected with local government programs and opportunities.

According to the official website, Camden County supports over 500,000 residents across 37 municipalities in southern New Jersey. The county advances community welfare through efforts in education, workforce development, public services, public safety, health care initiatives, transportation projects, economic development programs, as well as maintaining facilities such as parks and libraries. Camden County operates under a seven-member Board of Commissioners who serve staggered three-year terms.

By sharing regular newsletters featuring town hall meetings and other important topics each week, officials say they hope to foster greater civic engagement among residents.
