On Tuesday, the Camden County Police Department and local residents participated in National Night Out at Farnham Park. The event is part of a nationwide initiative designed to build relationships between law enforcement and community members and to foster safer neighborhoods.

The celebration included interactive displays featuring police and fire department vehicles, as well as music, food, games, and public safety demonstrations. Attendees were also treated to free ice cream from Mr. Softee at Farnham Park and at several other National Night Out events organized throughout the city.

Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez commented on the event’s significance: “National Night Out provides us with a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our residents in a fun, positive environment. This event helps strengthen our community policing approach and we look forward to National Night Out every year.”

National Night Out is held annually across communities in the United States to promote trust between law enforcement agencies and those they serve.
