The Camden County Mosquito Control Commission will conduct spraying operations early Friday morning across various areas of Camden County. The initiative aims to control the mosquito population and prevent the spread of diseases.

Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, who serves as a liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission, emphasized the importance of eliminating standing water around homes. “It’s important for homeowners to check their yard and get rid any standing water to prevent mosquitos from spreading,” Nash stated. He further advised residents to inspect flowerpots and plastic containers for stagnant water, adding that proactive measures can significantly impact mosquito control efforts.

Weather permitting, the Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying is scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2025, between 2 am and 6 am. The targeted locations include several streets in Berlin, Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Runnemede, Winslow, and Pennsauken.

Residents are encouraged to take precautions during these hours to ensure safety while allowing the commission’s team to carry out its work effectively.
