Several road projects are set to take place across Camden County from July 28 to August 1. Commissioner Al Dyer, who is the liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to plan ahead for alternate routes and allow extra time for travel. He emphasized the importance of slowing down and staying alert in construction areas.
In Audubon, West Nicholson Road will be closed from Payson Court to Central Avenue from July 28 to July 31 between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. In Camden, Kaighn Avenue will see a full closure on July 28 from Rose Street to Louis Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PSE&G will work on Mt. Ephraim Avenue with closures between Carl Miller Boulevard and Ferry Avenue from July 28 to August 1, daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Market Street will have lane shifts on July 31 and August 1 between Haddon Avenue and Broadway.
Clementon’s Berlin-Clementon Road will be closed from White Horse Avenue to Higgins Avenue from July 28 through August 1, while Collingswood’s Fern Avenue faces closure on July 29 between Haddon and Maple avenues.
In Gloucester Township, Blenheim-Erial Road will experience partial closures southbound at Black Horse Pike from July 28 through August 1. PSE&G is scheduled for work in Gloucester City on Market Street with closures between Walnut Street and Park Avenue on July 31.
Haddonfield’s North Haddon Avenue will see closures by New Jersey American Water between Hopkins and Windsor avenues during the same week.
Merchantville’s East Park Drive closes between Center Street and East Chestnut Avenue on July 31 and August 1.
PSE&G plans work in Somerdale affecting Somerdale Road with closures on Monday, impacting traffic up until East Atlantic Avenue.
Voorhees’ South Burnt Mill Road faces night-time closures by South Jersey Gas along sections intersecting White Horse Road until Lucas Lane from late evening into early morning hours.
