The Camden County Board of Commissioners is set to continue its Summer Concert Series with three live performances scheduled for this week.

On Monday, July 28, Dumpstaphunk will perform at the Sunset Jazz Series in Wiggins Waterfront Park, Camden, starting at 8 p.m. as part of the county’s Recovery Rocks! event. On Wednesday, July 30, Bob Mould and Maria Mirenzi will take the stage at Haddon Lake Park for the Sundown Music Series beginning at 7:30 p.m. The series will conclude on Thursday, July 31, with Yacht Rock Gold featuring Elliot Lurie performing at Cooper River Park at 8 p.m.

Dumpstaphunk has established itself as a significant New Orleans funk-fusion group. Bob Mould is known for his work as a punk pioneer and founder of Hüsker Dü, while Yacht Rock Gold brings music from the late 1970s and early 1980s to new audiences.

“This week’s line up is especially exciting as we are holding our annual Recovery Rocks concert,” said Commissioner Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Department of Events and Community Outreach. “We pride ourselves on providing quality entertainment, completely free of charge for our residents. We encourage everyone to join us this week to enjoy a concert in our parks.”

All concerts are open to the public with free admission. Additional information about Camden County Summer Park events can be found on the county’s website: https://www.camdencounty.com/service/parks/2024-summer-park-events-guide/
