Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco, along with Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill and Congressman Tom Kean Jr., led a delegation to the Pentagon and Capitol Hill to support the Picatinny Arsenal. The group included federal, state, county, and local officials as well as community leaders, academics, and business organizations.

“Picatinny Arsenal has been a center of excellence in Morris County and I am beyond proud to represent and advocate for its world-class research and development facilities that provide state-of-the-art military equipment for the brave war fighters who selflessly defend our freedoms both home and abroad,” said Sen. Bucco. “Furthermore, it serves as a huge economic driver that provides great employment opportunities for our surrounding communities and the State. It was my pleasure to help lead the delegation to DC in further support of the Arsenal and gather information on how to maximize federal dollars for important projects while maintaining strong relationships with our Federal officials. I want to thank all the members of the delegation for their ongoing support of Picatinny and I look forward to its continued success.”

“The Picatinny Enhancement Coalition would like to thank Sen Bucco for his leadership, guidance and support to this important outreach event we held with key stakeholders within the Department of Defense and the US Congress. Without his leadership and support I can honestly say we would not have been able to execute the event. His support of Picatinny Arsenal has been steadfast, and will continue to show benefits as we implement the results of this important and now annual meeting,” said Vince Matrisciano, Picatinny Enhancement Coalition Board Member.
