The Boston Bruins defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-0 in the final game of the regular NHL season at TD Garden, according to an April 15 update from the Devils.

This match marked the end of the Devils’ 2025-26 NHL campaign. The result was decided early, with Boston scoring three goals in the first period and adding a fourth just before intermission.

Morgan Geekie opened scoring for Boston less than a minute into play. Mark Kastelic added two more goals for the Bruins in quick succession, giving him a pair for the night. Viktor Arvidsson scored with less than ten seconds left in the opening period to extend Boston’s lead to four.

No goals were scored during a quiet second period. In the third period, Michael Eyssimont appeared to add another goal for Boston, but it was overturned after a successful coach’s challenge by New Jersey due to an offside ruling. “No goal. The play was offside,” read an official post from @NJDevils on social media.

The Devils’ lineup featured its final roll call of players for this season as they closed out their schedule on April 15. The Bruins also fielded their roster for what was both teams’ regular season finale.

As both teams look ahead, this game concluded New Jersey’s campaign while Boston prepares for potential postseason action.
